The excessive bulges of fat over the body are the major reason of nightmares for the fast moving generation of modern India. The disturbed lifestyle of so called westernized Indians today has drove them to the world of bulging fat, obesity and many other disorders. Trying hard to combat those bulges, most of the Indians are resorting to tight gym schedules; burning both fat and hard earned money. However, most of us ignore the fact that the simple remedies of burning fat are confined within our home premises without even requiring an extra penny to be spent. The list below enfolds some of the basic home remedies for burning those extra bulges of fat.
1. You are what you eat:
Prior to the rigorous gym schedules, it is very important that you monitor your daily eating habits. Maintain a balanced diet and do not go about just eating anything. Focus on keeping the sugar intake minimum. Avoid intake of saturated fats and trans-fatty acids in your food. Though rice and potatoes form a major part of Indian food, minimize the intake as much as possible. Try substituting wheat, barley and maize for rice. Make sure your food includes a bitter vegetable like bitter gourd at least once a day. Such vegetables help in avoiding the accumulation of fats.
2. Adding sweetness to your life with honey:
Honey is excellent for proper mobilization of fats in the human body. You can replace the sugar in your milk and other sweet products with honey. Make it a habit to take a spoon of honey after half an hour of each meal. You can also mix a spoon of honey with lemon juice and consume twice a day. Otherwise, you can opt for mixing a tablespoon of honey with lemon juice and warm water, and drink it early in the morning on empty stomach. It is an excellent remedy for dissolving the excess harmful fats in the body.
3. Jambula and Amalaki: Indian magical fruits for weight loss:
Jambula or the Indian plum (also known as jamun) is distinguished for its weight reducing characteristics. Just take four leaves of Jambula plant, soak them overnight and then in the morning, consume the water discarding the leaves. Within a month you will lose weight. Amalaki or the Indian gooseberry (also known as amla) is an excellent source of Vitamin C, which is extremely helpful in reducing weight. Simply consume two or three fruits of Amalaki daily.
4. Chutneys: Not just adding taste but reducing weight:
Chutneys form a major portion of Indian cuisine but most of us are not aware of the fact that they posses excellent weight reducing properties. Simply, prepare chutney of mint leaves with coriander and consume with every meal. You can also opt for a cup of mint leaves tea. They are excellent in breaking down the fats considerably.
